I am sharing the details of my vSphere 6 home lab for those of you interested in building a cheap but reasonable white box lab / setup.

I have 3 hosts running a combination of vSAN and NFS (Synology)

For the Network I am running 2 x CISCO Small business 300 series managed switches with multiple vLans

For the license keys… I am a vMUG Advantage user and I use my EVALexperiance keys… and to be honest it’s the best thing I ever did… so much better than rebuilding the vCenter and hosts each time the trial expires!
